About the event
A 4.4 mile hike from the American River confluence to the dam overlook at Lake Clementine. The water cascading over the dam is a sight to see. The trail passes under the Foresthill bridge, the tallest bridge in California, and goes past Clark’s Hole, a popular swimming spot. The trail is warm, so bring your water to stay hydrated. Unless you have a poppy pass, there is a $10 fee to park. We will meet at the ranger kiosk area.
